Is OMS under any jurisdiction of the Orthodox Church?
OMS is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves the entire Orthodox Church in the United States, as represented by the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops in the USA.
Does OMS have the specific approval of a canonical bishop in America?
As OMS is an inter-jurisdictional nonprofit, we do not seek any such approval; however, we do work with all the jurisdictions through the Assembly of Bishops. In addition, we do work with local Dioceses and Metropolises that engage our services.
Does OMS offer financial assistance or grants to organizations and churches?
OMS offers organizational support, training and a whole host of other services, but does not offer grants of any kind.
